Full-Time (Term-Time Only): 37.5 Hours per Week (Mon - Fri 8.00am to 3.30pm )

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic

Nursery Apprentice

to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is beginning their career in early childhood education and has a genuine passion for working with young children. As a Nursery Apprentice, you will learn from experienced practitioners while supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery. You'll gain hands-on experience and training as you work towards a recognised qualification in childcare.

Responsibilities



Support the delivery of high-quality care and education in a safe and nurturing environment. Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

framework. Help with daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and rest periods, ensuring the wellbeing of all children. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through clear and respectful communication. Observe children's play and development, contributing to learning records under the guidance of qualified practitioners. Work as part of a supportive team to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Be proactive in your learning and training, attending all required study sessions and completing coursework on time.

Requirements



A genuine interest in working with young children and supporting their development. Willingness to work towards a

Level 2 and/or Level 3 qualification

in Early Years Education. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. A caring, responsible, and proactive attitude. Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Working Hours & Pay



Full-time position (usually 37.5 hours per week, Term Time Only)

Paid in line with

apprenticeship wage guidelines

, with regular reviews and increases possible based on performance Some flexibility may be available to accommodate study time or personal circumstances

Requirements to Apply



Must be aged 16 or over Must not already hold a qualification equal to or higher than Level 3 in Early Years (unless applying for a Level 3 apprenticeship) Right to work in the UK Will be required to undergo

an enhanced DBS check

before starting
