Job Description

Money Advice Scotland is the national charity for financial wellbeing. The organisation exists to support the money advice sector, influence policy, and improve financial health across Scotland.

They are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven

Fundraiser

to grow and diversify income streams, with a particular focus on supporting the charity's

FinWell

service.

About the Role

Working closely with the Chief Executive and wider team, the Fundraiser will:

Develop and deliver fundraising strategies and targets Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, trusts, foundations, and partners Increase income from grants, trusts, community fundraising and events Support and work alongside volunteers to deliver community fundraising activities Work with the Communications team on promotional materials, campaigns, and digital content Identify new funding opportunities and develop fundraising ideas Produce regular progress reports
An established volunteer network is already in place. A shared organisational target of 100,000 per annum has been set and has been reached and exceeded in previous years.

Person Specification

Essential

o

Proven experience of achieving fundraising targets

Experience of designing and delivering successful fundraising events or campaigns Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including with press and media Ability to inspire and support volunteers Full driving licence and access to a car

Desirable

o

Knowledge of the money advice or financial wellbeing sector

Experience of CRM or fundraising databases
The ideal candidate will be proactive, collaborative and able to represent the organisation with confidence, warmth, and professionalism.
