Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in line with established recipes and standards Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking tasks under supervision Ensure food safety and hygiene protocols are strictly followed at all times Serve meals to customers or staff efficiently and courteously Help with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen during busy periods Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments & enthusiasm to learn is essential Knowledge of food preparation, meal assembly, and basic cooking techniques Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced setting Good organisational skills with attention to detail Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
