Role Overview

We are recruiting a

Garden Maintenance Team Leader

to lead a two-person maintenance team. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for job quality, efficiency, and daily organisation. You will

drive the company vehicle

and act as the main point of contact on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Leading and working within a two-person maintenance team Driving the company van between scheduled jobs Lawn mowing, strimming, edging Hedge cutting, pruning, and shaping Weeding and general garden upkeep Green waste handling and site cleanliness Ensuring work meets company standards Daily machinery checks and basic maintenance Professional communication with clients when required
Requirements

Essential:

Full UK driving licence (required)

Proven garden maintenance / grounds maintenance experience Ability to lead by example and manage time effectively Reliable, organised, and physically fit

Desirable:

Petrol machinery experience Hedge cutting and pruning knowledge PA1 / PA6 spraying certificates
Pay & Benefits

Self-employed:

15.00 per hour

PAYE:

13.00 per hour

+ performance bonuses

Working Hours

Weekdays Seasonal start/finish times Overtime available during peak months
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 100.00-120.00 per day
