We are seeking a proactive and experienced Garden Maintenance Team Leader to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within our horticultural and landscape operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in gardening and landscape maintenance, and familiarity with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance tasks performed by team members, ensuring timely completion of projects.
Oversee the utilisation of hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems to maintain gardens, landscapes, and horticultural features.
Plan and execute landscape maintenance activities, including pruning, planting, fertilising, and pest control.
Assist with the installation and repair of irrigation systems to optimise water efficiency.
Provide guidance and training to team members on the safe use of tools and equipment.
Monitor the quality of work carried out by the team, ensuring adherence to safety standards and organisational guidelines.
Maintain inventory levels of tools, supplies, and materials necessary for landscape maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure landscaping projects align with organisational objectives.
Requirements
Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance roles.
Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and horticultural practices.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or leading a team.
Ability to organise tasks efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture or landscape management are desirable but not essential. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to maintaining beautiful landscapes through effective leadership and technical expertise.
