Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and assisting our teams on the road. This role requires a pro-active and can do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs across office buildings, residential and company properties, including basic carpentry, painting, tiling, and upkeep of internal and external spaces.
Carry out routine grounds and outdoor maintenance such as gardening, weeding, exterior painting, and seasonal clean-ups.
Assemble, install, and relocate furniture, fixtures, and equipment as required across various sites.
Provide logistical support to internal teams, including moving tools, machinery, and stock between locations.
Assist skilled tradespeople--including electrical, roofing, and solar installation teams--with preparation, setup, and general site support.
Safely erect and dismantle mobile access equipment, such as scaffolding, in line with safety procedures.
Support day-to-day operations at company HQ, including stock organisation and facility upkeep.
Take on varied hands-on tasks as needed to keep company sites running efficiently and safely.
Experience
Previous experience in a handyman, maintenance, facilities, or general labour role.
Basic knowledge of property maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, tiling, or basic carpentry.
Familiarity with tools and equipment commonly used in building and grounds maintenance.
Experience supporting skilled trades (e.g., electricians, roofers, builders) is a strong advantage.
Comfortable working at height and with scaffolding or ladders (training can be provided).
Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Manual handling experience (moving furniture, tools, equipment, etc.).
Any background in construction, landscaping, or warehouse/logistics support is beneficial.
Full driving licence and experience driving between sites or transporting equipment.
