Are you searching for a new role utilising your skills as an electrician? #TeamUHD are looking for a g eneral m aintenance a ssistant (e lectrical ) to join the Estates department on the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site.



You'll be working as part of a team that covers the hospital electrical systems 7 days per week ( shift working) an d be responsible f or the day-to-day repairs, operation and first line response of the Trust electrical equipment and systems.



You 'll operate and m aintain the Trust ' s electrical equipment and systems , including ( but not limited to ): lighting and emergency light systems, fire alarms, nurse call and other electrical systems and equipment found in the healthcare environment . Ensuring an econom ic, efficient and safe manner, in accordance with legislation and agreed standards.



We're seeking someone who demonstrate s a keen understanding of all modern general electrical maintenance activities, both reactive and planned; with a willingness to learn and improve their skills and be a dedicated team player with a proven track record .

The post holder will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of the Electrical building services installations within the trust in line with current policies and procedures.



Undertake unsupervised routine maintenance and minor repair work including planned prevented maintenance work and labouring including electrical shutdowns



The post holder will have a full Driving licence ( vehicle group A ).
