Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment across our operations. Duties

Maintain Boilers Metal fabrication/ welding Painting and decorating Door repairs Temperature walk round (checking temperatures in packing halls) Changing Canteen filters Sprinkler tests Racking repairs Plumbing Thermal shower disinfection

Qualifications

Proven experience in general maintenance, fabrication, or related fields Proficiency in TIG welding, MIG welding, and use of hand tools and power tools Strong understanding of mechanical systems and basic maths skills for measurements and calculations Experience with sheet metal work and fabrication techniques Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding, fabrication, and machinery operation Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
