ROLL UP, ROLL UP -- TIPSY TEAPOT LINCOLN IS SEEKING A GENERAL MANAGER!

The circus is almost ready... now we need our Ringmaster.

We're nearing the end of our build and preparing to open the

second-ever Tipsy Teapot

at the end of November -- our bold, bonkers, circus-themed venue hosted by the legendary Barnabus Flamingo. Now we're looking for a

General Manager

who can lead the show, run the floor, keep the chaos charming, and make the magic happen night after night.

If you've ever run a buzzing site for places like

Turtle Bay, Slug & Lettuce, Walkabout, Revolution

or similar high-energy brands -- you'll know exactly the level we're aiming for.

YOUR MISSION (should you choose to join the circus):

As GM, you'll be the beating heart of Tipsy Teapot Lincoln -- the organiser, the motivator, the problem-solver, the budget-keeper, the smooth-operator.

You'll be responsible for:

OPERATIONS & STANDARDS

Running every shift like the ringleader you are Ensuring brand standards are immaculate across bar, floor, and service Maintaining consistent, high-quality guest experiences (every guest leaves smiling) Ensuring the venue is always safe, clean, compliant and ready to perform

FINANCE & BUSINESS PERFORMANCE

Managing weekly budgets and hitting GP, wage and cost targets Completing stock counts accurately and on time Optimising labour spend and forecasting demand Analysing sales, driving revenue and boosting profitability

TEAM LEADERSHIP

Creating and managing rotas that balance fairness, cost & operational needs Recruiting, onboarding and developing a brilliant team Motivating FOH & Bar staff to deliver wow-moments every shift Leading from the front -- visible, positive, unflappable

ORDERING & COMPLIANCE

Managing ordering, deliveries and stock control Ensuring licensing, health & safety and food hygiene standards are met Following all brand and legal procedures -- and making sure the team do too

GUEST EXPERIENCE

Building a culture where guests feel welcomed, celebrated and entertained Handling feedback with professionalism (and personality) Creating a venue people talk about... then come back to with their friends

YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE:

GM or strong Deputy GM experience in a high-volume, high-energy venue
Strong organisational skills -- rotas, orders, numbers, deadlines... you actually enjoy them
The ability to energise a team and lead from the front
Confidence, resilience, and a calm head under pressure
A passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences
A personality that can handle a circus -- because you're running one
