GENERAL MANAGER

- INDEPENDENT - BRANDED GASTRO PUB COMPANY - NEW OPENING - OPPOURTUNITY

Are you a General Manager who is bored of the norm and who is looking for an exciting challenge and opportunity. One that will require all your passion, dedication and experience to drive a team and business forward to the next level. Breaking the norm when it comes to driving sales and finding new and exciting ways to help grow a brand while engaging all the team and guests along the way.

THE JOB IN HAND...

Basically, to be a leader of people and to help grow a positive experience and a fantastic team. Maintain the highest standards of service and operate in line with all company policies. Be forward thinking and innovative in your approach to sales growth, improving profitability and the guests overall experience.

Understand all the financials and be the boss of controlling labour spends, create winning rotas and own and smash your P n L. It doesn't stop there, you will lead from the front, drive genuine hospitality, deliver amazing food, drinks and service making a name for yourself along the way!

Are you...

Strong, experienced General Manager within a restaurant and bar environment Proven with experience with all kitchen understandings and operations Passionate about their team, guests and reputation An inspiration to your team who drives and encourages them to go the extra mile for your guests A stickler for standards and consistency Proactive in developing your management, front of house and kitchen teams Experienced with kitchen operations with hands on experience of bossing a section

Can you...

Recruit, induct and manage new team members and managers Support the Head Chef, help pushing the team and the business forward Demonstrate strong leadership with a hands-on approach and strong communication Lead, engage, inspire and motivate a diverse team Manage stock and control food and drink margins Manage EHO, Health and Safety audits to a high standard Have an eye for detail and thrive in a high volume fast paced environment
