General Manager - The Original Pasty House (Tavistock) Full-Time | Permanent | Competitive Salary + Performance Bonus The Original Pasty House is entering an exciting new chapter as we transition our Tavistock store into a modern, fast-paced QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) model. We're looking for an experienced, driven, and people-focused General Manager to lead the transformation and take ownership of day-to-day operations. This is an opportunity to run your own store, develop a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional results in a rapidly evolving brand. --- What You'll Be Doing Leading the day-to-day management of a busy QSR-style store. Delivering agreed-upon KPIs including labour %, waste reduction, food safety compliance, customer experience scores, and sales targets. Coaching, motivating, and developing the team to create a positive, productive workplace culture. Overseeing rota planning, stock management, ordering, cash handling and operational standards. Ensuring all food safety and hygiene procedures are maintained to the highest standard. Working closely with senior leadership to implement new systems, menu changes, promotions, and operational improvements. Taking ownership of the store's performance as if it were your own business. --- Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: Has experience in a QSR environment (e.g. fast casual dining, bakery/cafe chains, branded quick service). Thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced setting and leads by example. Understands KPIs and can use data to improve performance. Has strong people management skills and enjoys developing teams. Is organised, proactive, and able to make confident decisions. Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
