We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare and/or Technology industry, preferably in both industries. A strong candidate will have a solid experience in a Start-up environment, ready to take initiative with a sense of urgency and Self-starter attitude. The position will report directly to the Director/Country Head of our UK Operations.
Duties
Manage overall administrative and operating activities of our subsidiary in the Primary Care sector under our Operations & Management contract including hiring, set-up and training of all staff.
Responsible for managing the Profit & Loss of the subsidiary and any of its new operations and ensure its operations as a profit center.
Develop and execute a new Business plan under the directives and guidance of the Country Manager and/or the Board of the parent company.
Assisting the Country Head in development and execution of our subsidiary's E-commerce launch including obtaining and filing of relevant approvals with the relevant regulatory bodies. including the NHS and its guidelines.
Assisting the Country Head in Identifying key and/or fast moving products to promote e-commerce through its online platforms and Social Media channels.
Development and management of the e-commerce fulfilment team including any warehousing, packaging, storage and delivery to end customers.
Managing after sales servicing and any Returns management in coordination with an outsourced third party service provider for an effective channel management.
Monitoring and reporting of the two new business segments through KPI development for the company on a quarterly basis and ensuring profitability of the project in the first 12 months of operations.
Perform business analysis including assisting the Country Head in project and new investment related ROIs including widely used KPIs for online sales and digital marketing channels.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures to achieve targeted profitability in a given time frame.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of work experience with preference of a notable international experience as a General Manager and/or in a Business Management role.
Preferable experience in the Healthcare, Pharmacy with some level of online business. Having a Start-up experience will be a plus.
Clearly demonstrated leadership in a small but effective team environment or executing business plans with outsourced/shared service partners.
Professional experience to include knowledge and execution of developing business plans, including prospecting, market/sector analysis and Digital marketing.
Ability to communicate professionally in English language with effective presentation and sales skills.
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree education from a recognized university with Good academic achievements.
