Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the efficient operation of our facility. This role requires a proactive individual who can work well both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest standards.

Duties

Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment, including excavators. Assist in loading and unloading materials as required. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or safety to management promptly.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving, with a valid driving licence. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Experience operating excavators and wheel shovels is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
