We're on the lookout for a talented and versatile Glazier to join our team, supporting a busy responsive repairs contract in Dover. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across a range of trades, ensuring residents' homes are safe, functional, and well cared for.
You'll be working across occupied properties, responding to day-to-day repair requests that cover glazing. No two days are the same, and your ability to adapt, problem-solve, and deliver excellent customer service will be key to your success.

Role Responsibilities

• Replacing broken or damaged glass units in windows and doors
• Installing and repairing UPVC windows, doors, and frames
• Diagnosing faults and recommending appropriate repair solutions
• Ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Working in both occupied and void properties
• Using handheld devices (PDA) to log work and update job status
• Liaising with tenants and colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard
• Supporting other trades and contributing to a positive team environment

Role Criteria

• Proven experience in glazing and UPVC repairs
• Experience in the above duties
• Must be competent with all aspects of glazing and UPVC works including installing/replacing hinges, handles, restrictors, locks and sliding gear
• Must have experience of and be able to undertake changing of UPVC trims, sills and renewing of double-glazed units
• You must be able to measure glass and doors and confidently order materials with our suppliers
• Must be familiar with composite doors
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills - verbal and written
• Basic IT literacy for logging and reporting tasks
• Full UK driving licence
