Job Description

We are looking for Golf & Office Assistant is to provide an overall excellent experience for all members and guests in line with company procedures and policies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and have a background in office administration.

Hours of work: 37 hours per week , flexible days, to include and Monday's and alternative Saturdays, 9 - 2 pm

Salary - Dependent on experience

8. Customer Service experience

9. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications.

Duties include:



1. Manage daily office operations including handling incoming calls and e-mail enquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette

2.Promoting and maximizing the usage of the facilities and ensuring profitability in accordance with the company's directives.

3.Maintaining the highest standards of customer care and organization of Golf events in accordance with company's policies and procedures.

4.To liaise with the other teams at the club, who are responsible for the day to day golf activities

Detailed Responsibilities:



1. General Cash handling and banking reconciliation

2. Membership implementation and enquiries

3. Liaise with members and the committee and offer them every assistance in line with Company policies and procedures

4. Ensure that every effort is made to capture visitor data

5. Co - ordinate all society and golf day bookings including communication with 3rd parties , co ordination and collection of deposits and balances.

6. To have a detailed understanding of the computer sales system (IG)and how to sell products to our customers (full training will be given).

General Responsibilities:



1. To adhere to all statutory requirement regarding fire, health, safety, hygiene

2. To participate in cross/multi skilled training within your department or other departments as deemed appropriate by your manager.

3. To carry out any reasonable instructions as directed by the Senior Managers.

4. To deal with all internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner at all times

5. To maintain a high level of dress and appearance at all times adhering to company uniforms

6. To attend any training sessions as requested and adhere to all company regulations

7. From time to time you may be required to carry out duties outside the normal sphere of work as may be reasonably requested by Management

8. To promote the club at every opportunity
