Job Overview
We are seeking a
friendly and enthusiastic Part-Time Golf Shop Assistant
to join our vibrant team at The Grange. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and creating exceptional customer experiences.
In this varied role, you'll welcome members and visitors, prepare and serve drinks, check in golfers, handle bookings, process shop sales, and provide all-round customer support. You'll be an important part of keeping our shop, bar, and reception areas running smoothly, clean, and organised.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to established standards.
Check in golfers, confirm bookings, and process related queries or payments.
Take phone calls and golf bookings in a polite and efficient manner.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with members and visitors.
Assist with shop sales and offer product recommendations.
Liaise with members, visitors, and staff to ensure smooth communication.
Maintain a clean and organised shop, bar, and reception area, including restocking.
Handle cash and card payments accurately.
Support the kitchen team to ensure timely service of food when required.
Manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in
hospitality, bartending, or customer service
is essential.
Strong time management and multitasking skills.
Confident handling cash and card transactions.
Knowledge of golf equipment and shop sales is advantageous (but not essential).
Friendly, approachable, and professional communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Valid driving licence preferred.
