What you will do
Be responsible for managing the receipting of all incoming goods into stores and other stock control duties, if required. Keeping production line racks filled with receipted goods in the right bin location
Book-in goods against their accompanying Delivery / Advice notes, verifying accuracy by counting and checking the supplied goods prior to release
Report any damaged / nonconforming goods immediately to Line Management
Accurately verify stock-count quantities, in and out, intended for sub-contract operations and processing, reporting any discrepancies with the Sub-Contract Controller, and Line Manager
Challenge any quantities / discrepancies which do not correspond to the purchase order on the ERP system
Ensure any goods received without the required documentation, Delivery / Advice note, is reported immediately to Line Manager
Monitor any other issues affecting your ability to perform your duties, ensuring these are reported to your Line Manager
Scan and filing all Delivery / Advice notes onto the company network
Participate with routine meetings with the Purchasing Manager / Team as required, raising supplier issues, i.e. those which do not meet basic requirements e.g., Product Preservation (Packaging), etc.

What you'll bring
Previous work in a production, assembly or manufacturing environment
Clear communication skills with suppliers and internal departments
IT skills to record incoming goods involving scanning of receipts
Attention to detail to check quantities and verify goods against delivery note or advice notes
Be able to lift and carry using correct techniques
Skill in using pallet trucks and a fork-lift license would be advantageous
Understand Health & Safety to maintain a secure and safe working environment
Basic numeracy ability
