Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - Year 6 | Barnet | Up to 100/day

We are seeking a graduate SEN Teaching Assistant with excellent English communication skills, strong energy, and the ability to support two Year 6 pupils with EHCPs. This role is ideal for someone who can build confidence, foster independence, and ensure every child accesses learning in line with their peers.

The Role
Provide tailored support for a Year 6 pupil with autism and some ADHD, helping them stay motivated, focused, and engaged.
Deliver scaffolded help, encouragement, and structure for a second pupil requiring confidence building and organisation.
Encourage independence for both pupils, while ensuring inclusion within the wider class.
Support routines and learning activities across the Year 6 classroom.
Work closely with teachers, sharing observations and adapting support strategies as needed.
Person Specification
Graduate-level education required.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Experience supporting children with SEND (autism/ADHD preferred).
Energetic, proactive, and able to quickly understand pupil needs.
Warm, patient, and committed to developing self-esteem and independence.
Collaborative and adaptable team player.
Available to start immediately.
