Graphic Designer - Packaging



Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a graphic designer to join our award-winning team.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar or aligned industry with experience in packaging design. They must be comfortable in front of clients, as well as an effective collaborator with fellow designers. They will combine strong creative vision with practical execution and bring an understanding of how packaging and digital storytelling intersect.

This role is based in office full time. While we can offer some flexibility after 6 months - this is not a hybrid role.

As well as creative packaging, we also design semi-permanent and permanent displays for well-loved global and high-street brands.

Our working culture is hugely important to us, and teamwork is the key to our success. You will be working collaboratively alongside a diverse mix of 3D designers, graphic designers, artworkers, engineers and project managers.

Key responsibilities:

Creating consistent omni-channel designs, with touchpoints across both packaging and POS channels. Designing and developing innovative packaging concepts for retail, promotional, and influencer campaigns. Creating innovative ways to help brands increase their retail presence, developing vibrant in-store designs. Tackling a range of briefs of varying complexity to showcase and justify your creative thinking from sketch concepts to fully resolved creative routes Accurately carrying out client amends and offering effective solutions Creation of mood boards and research around demographic and competitors Asset creation and photo retouching
Essential skills:

Understanding of packaging design, materials, and sustainability considerations Awareness of social media trends and how packaging can be amplified across digital platforms Confident communication skills to enable liaison with other designers, account management teams and clients Work well as part of a team and be happy with working in a busy, fast-paced studio environment Ability to balance multiple briefs in a fast-paced studio environment Strong attention to detail, with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
