We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. This role is essential in ensuring our guests enjoy delicious grilled dishes in a vibrant restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring all meals are cooked to perfection. Follow recipes and presentation specifications to maintain consistency in meal preparation. Assist in the overall kitchen operations, including food preparation and maintaining cleanliness. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Maintain a clean and organised work area, including regular cleaning of grills and cooking equipment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred, particularly in grilling or similar cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of ingredients is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques will be highly regarded.
