Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Grill Cook to join our busy Bristol team. The role involves grilling meats for souvlaki, preparing and cutting gyros, and ensuring every dish meets Taka Taka's high-quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Grill and cook meats (chicken, pork, lamb) for souvlaki and gyros.
Correctly carve/cut gyros and assist with wrap/pita assembly.
Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
Work efficiently during busy service periods.
Support the kitchen team with prep, cooking, and general kitchen duties.
What we're looking for
Cooking experience is essential
(grill or fast-paced kitchen experience preferred).
Experience grilling souvlaki or handling gyros is a
big advantage
.
Ability to work late nights and weekends.
Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and consistent in a fast-paced environment.
