Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on grilling techniques. This role is essential for ensuring that our guests receive high-quality meals in a timely manner, while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to menu specifications Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout the shift Assist with meal preparation for all kitchen stations as needed Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods Participate in inventory management, including tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels

Experience

Previous kitchen experience is essential, with a focus on grill cooking required Culinary experience or relevant qualifications would be advantageous Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required Experience in a fast paced restaurant environment is highly desirable Strong skills in meal preparation and serving techniques

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
