Responsibilities
Prepare and cook various grilled items according to menu specifications.
Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperatures and meets food safety standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including marinating meats and chopping vegetables.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station and surrounding areas.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of grilling supplies and communicate needs to management.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Skills
Proven experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting, particularly in food preparation and cooking.
Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on grilling techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to help others when needed.
