Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook food items on the grill according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill area and kitchen equipment. Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in meal preparation for special events or menu changes as required. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality meals. Follow all health and safety guidelines while handling food products.

Requirements

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Grill Cook or similar role. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant setting. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and providing exceptional dining experiences.
