Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Grooming Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our grooming professionals in providing high-quality grooming services for pets. Your passion for animal care and customer service will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Duties

Carry out bathing, drying, and brushing pets to maintain their hygiene and appearance. Prepare grooming tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order. Handle animals safely and gently, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including the grooming area and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming services. Assist with heavy lifting of larger animals as required during the grooming process. Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions.

Skills

Able ,to demonstrate a genuine love for Dogs Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with pet owners. Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the pet and yourself. Good communication skills to effectively relay information between pet owners and groomers.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
