About the role:



As a Growth Marketing Apprentice at Skift, your main focus will be increasing organic search visibility and driving website traffic - through strategy, planning, and innovation. You will play a vital role in supporting the Senior Growth Marketing Manager in developing and executing comprehensive SEO and Paid Ads strategies. You will support on any technical SEO tasks when required, as well as supporting and building relationships with the wider teams. You'll have an eagle-eye on every Skift vertical - innately knowing what their target audience is and planning the most innovative ways to reach them - truly embodying effective, efficient marketing.

Main Responsibilities:



Write compelling copy for paid advertising campaigns and SEO content. Identify high-value keywords through research, gap analysis, and competitor assessment. Develop and implement an SEO prioritisation matrix with SEO Writer. Write and optimise SEO content, including evergreen pillar posts and landing pages for Skift sites. Utilise tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, GSC, GA, Parse. ly and Jetpack Analytics to analyse performance and identify opportunities. Monitor technical SEO issues and implement site audit recommendations. Research ad libraries on social platforms to identify new opportunities. Track, report, and optimise ad performance for ROI, conversions, and budget compliance. Define best-performing ad types, audience segments, and budget allocation. Collaborate with content writers and internal teams to enhance SEO efforts and educate on best practices. Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and digital marketing best practices. Working closely with Event Marketing, Creative Team and Dev Team for campaign efficiency. Oversee paid ad campaigns across platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Assist with email marketing, PPC campaigns, and paid social media ads. Utilise HubSpot CRM for audience segmentation and reporting. Maintain campaign trackers to align marketing efforts with business strategy. Ensure SEO initiatives complement marketing campaign schedules

Entry Requirements:



You'll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration. You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
