Job Description

We are looking for a GUEST RELATIONS AND MARKETING COORDINATOR to join our team at LINTON COLLECTION.

We are luxury self-catering apartments located in the Old Town of Edinburgh.

This is an onsite, full time position working 5 out of 7 days and weekend work will be required as necessary. We are a small team so a flexible approach is essential.Previous experience in hotel or apartments industry is required. A personable candidate is required.

Customer facing

Manage bookings and guest information Managing guest expectations - onsite guest support Handling sensitive data Guest enquiries - phone/email/in-person Organising/creating add-ons and packages - upselling Managing guest complaints onsite PMS system knowledge Coordinating guest feedback
Housekeeping

General understanding Communicate and coordinate guest requests
Maintenance

Basic overview - simple maintenance repairs over holiday cover Basic H&S knowledge Knowledge of general apartment workings - troubleshooting and basic knowledge of how to fix.
Marketing skills

Developing and implementing marketing campaigns Manage and update websites and social media platforms Coordinate email marketing campaigns and promotional materials Support brand consistency across all marketing communications Track and report marketing performance metrics (social media, website traffic, campaign results) Photo/videography skills for shoots, video content, and promotional eventsImage/video editing skills for social media and/or promotional material Advertising knowledge Support public relations efforts, including press releases and local partnerships
Extras

On-call flexibility - phone cover 3 out of 7 mornings. Evening and weekend work as required Holiday cover as requiredWorking hours will be 10am - 6pm
Skills

Positive, hands on approach and able to use own initiative Ability to work well under pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and analytics Creative mindset with attention to detail Organised and ability to prioritise Other tasks as required Team player Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Salary

Competitive but dependent on experience
