Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks around residential and commercial properties. This role requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Conduct repairs on fixtures, fittings, and appliances as needed. Assist with installations of equipment and furniture. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or management. Maintain an organised inventory of tools and supplies. Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times.

Skills

Proficient in various maintenance person skills such as plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to perform manual labour and lift heavy objects when necessary. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation between job sites.
