We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills, including mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics and logic controllers. This role requires strong leadership abilities and excellent customer service skills, as you will be supervising various tasks and interacting with clients.

Duties

Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties. Supervise and lead small teams on various projects to ensure timely completion. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns effectively. Conduct electrical repairs, installations, and troubleshooting as needed. Utilise mechanical knowledge to maintain and repair equipment and systems. Read and interpret schematics for efficient problem-solving. Operate logic controllers for automated systems when required. Perform welding tasks for structural repairs or modifications. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a maintenance person or maintenance role is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Comprehensive electrical knowledge, including installation and troubleshooting. Mechanical aptitude with experience in maintaining various systems and equipment. Familiarity with schematics and logic controllers is highly desirable. Welding skills are a plus but not mandatory. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
