: Handyman Woman Assistant (Training Role)

Aveiro Bespoke Property Solutions is a unique, zero-emissions property renovation and repair company. We handle everything from minor home repairs, full kitchen and bathroom renovations, restaurant maintenance or fit outs, and emergency call-outs.

The Role

:

This is a assistant/training role for a technical individual with basic knowledge & experience of tools and repairs/renovations and a deep desire to learn on the go.

I setup Aveiro Bespoke Property Solutions in 2019 and it has since grown with loyal and steady customer base. I usually work with subcontractors for larger projects but I am now looking to take on a temp assistant with the goal of turning this into a full time roll. This is a unique opportunity as you will have a lot of exposure to many different aspects of the business, no two days will be the same.

This role begins as a full-time temp role on a self employed basis with the aim of becoming a permanent contract after a 6 month probation period.

You will be working alongside me in the workshop and in van/visiting client sites, and learning everything from general repairs to full-scale renovations.

Experience and good knowledge of power tools and various materials a bonus as organisation is a large part of this training role. Strong organisational skills very important for this role as you will be responsible for ensuring tools & materials in the van and workshop are organised and accessible when needed.

You'll gain practical experience in:

Carpentry Plumbing Appliance Repair Tiling Painting & Decorating, Plastering and skimming Kitchen and bathroom rip outs and refits Floor levelling, waterproofing, and tanking TV mounting and more
You'll also get to experience working with restaurants, offices, gyms, cafes, IT companies, and handling rapid response emergency call-outs. Some evening and weekend availability may be required and flexibility advantageous as this is a small business with fast changing demands and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

:

Assisting with carrying tools and setting up job sites Maintaining and organising tools, materials, and equipment, including our van and workshop in Shoreditch, to ensure efficiency and speed when preparing for the day/week ahead. Working with high-precision tools to achieve top-quality results Ensuring job sites are clean and safe at all times

Safety and Equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm, Apprenticeship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 110.00-130.00 per day
