Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Barista to join our team. As a Head Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment and managing the team. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they enter our establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other during busy periods.

Skills

Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members positively.

Pay: 12.75-13.50 per hour
