Job Description

We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced supervisor, passionate about coffee and providing excellent customer service, to join our team and support the development of their team, ensuring smooth business operations and a comfortable environment for staff.

The successful candidate with have a history with working in a Barista role and should be capable of delegating tasks to their team, effectively communicating their needs, engaging with customers, and managing the store in the manager's absence.

We particularly require the candidate to be available to work throughout the week and on occasional weekends.

What's expected of you?

Confident in positive communication with customers and the team. Assisting in the organisation of Team Schedules Training and evaluating new employees Ensuring employees follow company policies and health & safety regulations Ability to work under pressure, lead a team, and use your initiative. Ability to delegate and follow direction, and follow through on tasks. Being attentive to the customer and the product quality, ensuring products of insufficient quality do not reach the customer. Tracking KPI's Cash Handling. Close and clean-down duties.

Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position ranging from 26 - 35 hours per week.

Applicants should be fully flexible from morning through the afternoon on weekdays from 06:30 to 16:00, as shift patterns will run from morning through lunch.

Qualifications

Barista experience

Serving experience

Knowledge of food safety protocols

Proficiency in food preparation

Basic math skills

Strong time management abilities

The successful applicant might have a background in barista and serving roles and expertise in food safety, food preparation, basic math, and effective time management.
