Join a fast-paced, multi-bar and restaurant venue at the heart of East London's hospitality scene.

We're looking for a head barista to spearhead an exciting opening of our Coffee Hatch and to join our Deli operation!

What You'll Do:

Coffee Quality & Standards

Prepare and serve consistently excellent espresso-based and filter beverages. Maintain quality control across both locations, ensuring recipes, dial-ins, and presentation meet cafe standards. Monitor bean usage, freshness, and rotation.

Team Leadership & Training

Mentor baristas to ensure consistency and skill development. Lead by example during busy service at both Hatch and Deli.

Operational Duties

Oversee daily machine setup, dial-in, and shutdown routines. Ensure grinders, espresso machines, and brewing equipment are cleaned, maintained, and reported for servicing when necessary. Manage stock of coffee beans, milk, and related supplies, coordinating with suppliers as needed. Support smooth workflow between Hatch and Deli during peak hours. Ensure adherence to food safety standards during food preparation and service. Provide outstanding service to our guests, leading to repeat custom and success of the coffee hatch Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Your Experience:

?? Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.

?? Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.

?? Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.

?? Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
