HEAD CRAFT BUTCHER REQUIRED for countryside Farm Shop & Cafe:

We are looking for someone with exceptional experience and enthusiasm to join and manage our current butchery team. Therefore we are seeking an individual who has outstanding craft butchery skills, a highly professional attitude, and has essential 5 star knowledge and physical ability for ALL Health & Hygiene requirements.

Duties would include:

Professional Butchery knife skills

Carrying out safe boning practises to current specifications.

Carrying out the trimming of all various cuts of meats and poultry.

Producing and monitoring portion controlled products.

Producing, maintaining and monitoring food safety standards to the highest of standards.

Managing your team efficiently and pro actively.

Retail Skills.

Ability to work with all species of meat.

Managing a well organised and well presented department.

Must have excellent sausage making skills with natural ability on experimental flavours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 16.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 48 per week
