Summary

We are seeking a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at The Kinmel Arms, Nr Abergele. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing food production and ensuring high culinary standards that align with our commitment to quality and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality. Oversee all aspects of food production, including preparation and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards. Develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service. Maintain a positive work environment that encourages creativity and excellence.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff. Creativity in menu development and presentation.
