We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our Indian kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, staff supervision, and ensuring the highest quality of food service in our restaurant.
Responsibilities
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food quality.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen costs effectively.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Assist in the preparation of meals during peak service times as needed.
Implement new cooking techniques and improve existing recipes to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of various cooking methods and cuisines.
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen management.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising kitchen staff.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff.
