We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food preparation, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As the Head Chef, you will play a crucial role in menu development, kitchen management, and ensuring that our restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative environment.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Manage food preparation processes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation across all dishes.
Assist in the recruitment and training of new kitchen staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant setting- minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen management practices.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
A solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding dining experiences.
Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are desirable but not essential.
