Duties

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food quality and safety. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency in taste and presentation. Handle any customer feedback or complaints professionally and promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
