Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect our commitment to quality and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase culinary creativity while adhering to seasonal availability. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and best practices in culinary arts. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Demonstrated ability in team management, including training and developing staff members. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production and preparation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
