The Fox & Goose Inn is a well loved country pub, restaurant and award winning wedding venue situated on the edge of the Peak District.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the catering operations at our venue. The ideal candidate will possess experience in delivering high quality pub/restaurant food along with catering for functions.
The Role
Manage kitchen operations, including stock and cost control.
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
Create seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene.
Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure seamless service delivery to customers.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a pub/restaurant.
Experience with catering for large functions.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment while maintaining high standards.
