Job Overview

We are seeking another

experienced

Chef for an International Football Academy set in unique and beautiful surroundings in the North West Leicestershire countryside. The ideal candidate will have a solid CV that is built around a strong sports background.

It is important that the successful candidate brings a wealth of experience in running a busy and efficient kitchen. The salary range is based on the candidates experience and credentials for the role.

Have already employed one Chef from our previous advert so previous applicants do not need to apply.

Working week is based on 5-6 days with some weekend work essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and create exciting menus that are diverse, nutritious, and cater to varying dietary needs (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free) and religious requirements.

Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently.

Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, stock control, and kitchen budgets ensuring financial efficiency.

Ensure all health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and allergen guidelines are followed.

Liaise with Academy staff and students to gather feedback, adapting menus as necessary with the priority of achieving customer satisfaction.

Maintain a positive and efficient working environment for the team.

- A friendly individual with a willingness to work in conjunction with Senior Management, Coaches, Welfare, Students and Residential to achieve the business aims and objectives.

- Knowledge/experience of the nutritional needs of young sportspeople and a desire to provide healthy meals that taste great and look appetising.

- Someone who enjoys bringing ideas and fun to mealtimes, this can include themed nights, cultural celebrations etc.

- An understanding and awareness of the diverse needs of an international customer base.

- Must hold a valid DBS Certificate or be willing to provide the required documentation to enable us to make an application.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
