Duties

Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production. Oversee menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Train and supervise kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and proper equipment usage. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain stock levels. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Create a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant/cafe setting. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen management. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering an environment of collaboration. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
