Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring efficient food production and service. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality. Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively. Maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment that promotes teamwork and creativity.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of various cooking techniques. Proven experience in a leadership role within a kitchen or restaurant setting. Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Ability to supervise and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food production. Exceptional communication skills to liaise with staff across all levels of the establishment. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
