Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a proven ability to supervise and inspire a team of cooks. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring that food safety standards are met while maintaining high-quality food preparation and production.

Duties

- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food costs effectively to maximise profitability.
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking methods, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment usage.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and flavour to enhance guest satisfaction.
