We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food safety, and a commitment to hospitality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the restaurant's identity. Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to create a seamless dining experience for guests. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to maximise profitability. Address any issues that arise in the kitchen promptly and effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. A culinary qualification or equivalent experience is preferred but not essential.
