Duties

Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Develop and design menus that showcase seasonal ingredients while catering to customer preferences. Supervise the daily activities of kitchen staff, including training new team members in culinary techniques. Maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food presentation and quality standards to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence. Implement cost control measures while maintaining high-quality food production.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both food preparation and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business.

Pay: 42,053.00-44,540.00 per year
