Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and high-quality standards. Develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency across dishes. Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimise profitability.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant environment. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques. Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management. Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
