Responsibilities
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular performance evaluations for kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth.
Assist in the development of special events and catering menus as required.
Experience
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Experience in menu planning, food production, and cost control is essential.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others in a fast-paced environment.
