We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to work as part of small team with a focus not he development and constant delivery of our established breakfast / brunch menu.
Duties
Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure quality and consistency in dishes served.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards within the kitchen.
Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and promote professional growth.
Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant, cafe, bakery setting.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and food production processes.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse group of individuals.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
