Looking for

Position: Curry Chef Employer: Koolba Indian Restaurant Location: Glasgow Merchant City Salary: Very good salary to the caliber chef Benefits: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), employer's pension contribution, Chef's uniform and meals on duty Prospects: future promotion for exceptional performance, loyalty and commitment. You will have the caliber, leadership and authority for directing and overseeing the preparation, cooking and finishing of complex range of high quality Indian cuisine dishes. You will be responsible for the management and operation of the kitchen and staff. Following the current menu planning,Routine stock ordering, rotation and quality checks; Supervision and training of junior Chefs and kitchen staff; Monitoring and management of food waste; Implement HACCP and food hygiene controls: Ensure compliance with health & safety guidelines. Regular monitoring of food temperature reports; Assist in Cost Analysis and review; Preparing reports and schedules; Performing key duties as assigned

To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: -

Eligibility to live and work in UK High level creativity, skills and mastery in preparation of a range of authentic Indian dishes and other specialties. Previous proven Min 3 years experience at required skill level for both position.
In addition you should also be:-

Performance, achievement and results driven Have an eye for detail Able to work well with others Energetic, physically fit and in good health A hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individual FAST PACED AND BE ABLE TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE Work at consistently high standards. Be well presented appearance and excellent communication. You should have a proven and stable background as an Indian Curry, with knowledge of UK food safety and health & safety requirements.
